These terms do not supersede your statutory rights under the sale of goods act, but are designed to clarify the principles and procedures of how we operate. Browsing the website and placing an order with Moonbump Ltd (either via the website order form or through other means) signifies that you accept and agree to our terms and conditions. The terms and conditions stated below, together with the information provided in our website (moonbump.com) constitute the entire agreement between the parties. Moonbump Ltd reserves the right at any time to modify, alter, amend or update these terms and conditions and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations or updates.

Placing an order

We must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted and work can commence. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. Moonbump Ltd products are handmade to order.

Moonbump Ltd will endeavor to send you an email confirming acceptance of your order within approximately 1 working day, however this is not guaranteed. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We will endeavor to start making your products immediately from the point at which payment is received in full.

Products

For your information and for the purposes of allergy identification, the products on this website may contain the following materials:

• Wax: Dimethyl Ether, Isoparaffin Hydrocarbon, various waxes, Aliphatic solvent, pentane, butane, propane

All sizes and measurements are approximate. We make every effort to produce high quality products however due to the handmade nature of the products, variations may occur in the finished item or the surface finish such as uneven edges, slight waves in the silicone or faint marks or bubbles. This is a normal outcome of the making process and will not significantly affect the realism of them when worn under clothing. We will never knowingly sell Bumps that have imperfections that may significantly affect the realism of the item when worn. The soft foam used for our Bump products may discolour over time. This is a natural property of the material and should not affect the wearability of the Bumps under clothing. A very small amount of residue sometimes appears temporarily on the silicone surface - this is a natural property of the medical grade silicone we use and if necessary can be wiped away. Our Foam Fake Pregnant Bellies are not as durable as our Silicone Fake Pregnant Bellies and are less suited for repeated or intensive use, which may cause damage to the product, for which Moonbump cannot be held liable.

The inside surface of our Silicone Fake Pregnant Belly is composed of silicone, soft polyurethane foam and fabric. Some silicone and foam may overhang the fabric bodysuit on one or both sides at the top and bottom edges of the bump shape and the silicone and foam layers are not adhered to one another. Our Silicone Fake Pregnant Bellies have a soft foam core and often some of the foam is pressed through the fabric bodysuit to the other side during the making process, along with a round shallow hole on the inside surface of the shape which is a natural result of the making process. These are normal features of our Silicone Moonbumps that are not visible during use, and do not affect the wearability or appearance of the Moonbumps when worn. After some initial use the silicone layer sometimes comes away slightly at the edges of the bodysuit as the fabric stretches and retracts, however this should settle over time and should not cause any wearability problems.

The inside and outside height and width measurements of our Fake Pregnant Bellies are provided on our website. It is the customer’s responsibility to review these measurements and ensure that the product will fit their torso before purchase as we are unable to accept returns, refunds or exchanges due to the bespoke, handmade to order nature of the products we make, and for reasons regarding personal hygiene and health & safety.

We have tried to ensure the products on our website are accurately displayed. However, some colour variances may occur from the images shown. Different screens reproduce colours in slightly different ways and so exact colour matches are not possible over the Internet. The colour, placement, vibrancy and strength of detailing on the Silicone Bumps, including linea nigras and stretch marks, may vary due to the handmade nature of the artistry. We strive to ensure that our products are displayed accurately at all times and update product information when required. Bodysuits for Silicone Bumps may differ in fabric, colour, construction or type from the images shown on the website but will have all of the main features stated in the description. Please note that our Bumps are costumes, not garments, (unless otherwise stated) and typically these products are intended for limited infrequent short-term use.

Our fake bump products are designed to look as realistic as possible when worn underneath clothing within the constraints of the construction and materials. In most situations our Bumps will simulate a realistic pregnancy for the wearer, however Moonbump Ltd cannot guarantee this success for every wearer and cannot be held liable for any outcomes should the effect from use not be realistic and/or convincing.

Due to feedback received from our clients, as of January 2016 we have renamed some of the bump sizes to reflect the stages of pregnancy more accurately. The Bumps are also now available in one width to provide a suitable fit and natural appearance for all waist sizes (previously known as 'Waist B').

Use Of Products

Underwear must be worn at all times beneath our Fake Pregnant Bellies for personal hygiene and health & safety reasons. Our Bumps are intended for short term use and should not be worn regularly or long-term. Moonbump Ltd cannot be held liable for any injury or harm resulting from the failure to wear clothing underneath our Bumps. Our products are intended solely for entertainment, advertising, personal and educational purposes such as theatre, television, film, photography, fancy dress, retail, schools and training. Our products may be used for surrogacy or adoption purposes solely for strengthening emotional bonds as you move forward with a planned surrogacy or adoption and must not be used to purposefully deceive others. Moonbump Ltd cannot be held accountable for use outside these areas and cannot be held liable for any consequence of illegal, immoral or fraudulent use of our products. By accepting these Terms and Conditions you agree not to use our Bumps for illegal, immoral or fraudulent purposes.

Pricing

We reserve the right for information on this website to be subject to change without prior notice. At times it may be incomplete, inaccurate or out-of-date. We have the right to make changes to product descriptions and remove products without notice. The prices payable for goods that you order are set out on our website at the time of ordering. The current prices supersede all previous prices.

Although we update our prices and product lines, occasionally goods may be incorrectly priced. In the event of a pricing error we reserve the right to suspend your order and contact you to ask if you wish to continue the transaction at the correct price.

Any quotation or invoice provided by us is valid at the time of quotation/invoice and will expire if not paid in full within 30 days, after which time a new quotation/invoice with updated prices will be provided upon request.

Discounts

We can offer a 10% discount for staff at schools, colleges, universities and charities, or for orders of three or more full-price Silicone Bellies purchased at the same time (bulk order discounts do not apply to Foam Bellies). To benefit from a discount, orders must be placed by contacting us first, prior to payment. Discounts exclude products which are on sale or reduced, the shipping cost, special order bodysuits and bespoke services. Only one discount can be applied per order. We will require proof before a discount can be granted.

Payment Methods

We use Worldpay to process website credit or debit card payments. For more details on Worldpay please visit worldpay.com. We also accept payment by the methods in the above table. If you would prefer to pay by a method other than Worldpay, please email us for further details. All payments including cheques must be cleared prior to making the products. Some payment methods require an additional fee for processing and may take several days to be received. Please see the table above for our payment processing fees.

Shipping and Packing

We will dispatch the goods ordered by you to the delivery address you provide at the time of ordering. All international Bump orders will need to be signed for and delivery addresses provided should be a place where someone will be present and able to accept the parcel at the time of delivery. We will not refund any charges relating to packing and shipping if you fail to take delivery of the goods at the address given by you on your order. Sample Pack orders within Europe and North America will usually be sent via postal service and to other countries will be sent via courier. All Bump orders will be sent using UK or International couriers. A tracking number for your parcel, where available, will be provided via email at the time of dispatch. This is to provide evidence of successful delivery to protect both us and our customers. It is the customer’s responsibility to check the tracking information in case of any shipment issues and liaise with the courier where necessary. If a parcel is returned to us due to incorrect, incomplete or insufficient delivery address and/or recipient contact details or due to absence at the time(s) of delivery, the customer will be liable to pay the original shipping costs and the shipping costs for the parcel being returned to us in addition to the shipping costs for re-sending the parcel. In the event that the customer does not want to pay for the parcel to be re-sent to them, at our discretion we may agree to issue a refund for the order minus all shipping costs incurred to Moonbump, depending on individual circumstances. Some couriers may not deliver to the recipient in person but to the threshold delivery address. Where the delivery address is in multiple occupation (including apartments), the courier may deliver to a central area for receiving deliveries.

We aim to dispatch all goods within 1-3 working days of receiving payment in full or as soon as practical after your order is accepted, however you can request a priority order if you need to receive your order sooner or by a certain date. Orders received after 17:00 GMT will be counted as received the next working day. We may provide you with an indicative lead time. We endeavour to dispatch our goods in time to reach you by our estimated or your requested date, however since each order is made to the customers specification, we may have to order materials for that specific order and we cannot guarantee delivery lead times. Accordingly any delivery lead time quoted will be indicative only. Shipping times are estimated only and are not guaranteed, however they enjoy a high success rate. In the event that a sample pack sent via Royal Mail does not arrive within the estimated postal time, we will wait a further 5 working days before dispatching a replacement sample pack. Goods will not be dispatched on weekends, bank holidays, public holidays, or at other times when we are closed. We will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered by you through delay in dispatch or delivery.

Moonbump Ltd may at times close for business and this information will be posted on the website prior to closure. Any orders made or communication received may not be processed or replied to during these periods. Orders already being processed before the business closes will either be completed before we close, or will be resumed when the business reopens. This will be decided and communicated with the client in advance of the business closing.

Shipping charges are not included within the product price. Shipping charges will be applied at the time of ordering via the website, or will be included in the invoice if paying via this method. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee to certain locations or for certain items. You will always be informed of this in advance and allowed to cancel your order prior to payment, if you do not wish to proceed. It might not be possible for us to deliver to some locations.

Moonbump Ltd has no control over the goods once they are shipped and cannot guarantee that your order will arrive within the time specified by your chosen method of shipment. In the event that a courier does not deliver an order within the time quoted by Moonbump Ltd or that packaging arrives in a damaged condition and the customer wishes to make a complaint or apply for a refund for postage costs, it is the customer's responsibility to contact the courier. Moonbump Ltd cannot be held liable for the failures of any couriers used.

Customs fees and duties may be payable on imported goods to some countries. Please check with your local customs department for more information. All customs charges and fees which are incurred to international orders will be payable in full by the customer. It is also the customer's responsibility to provide all necessary paperwork to clear the parcel through the customs department. If the parcel is returned to us by the customs department in the destination country and the contents are in good condition we may, at our discretion, provide a refund for your order, less the original shipping cost, any bespoke or special services which have been paid for and any further charges which have been incurred in the parcel being returned to us. If the parcel is abandoned by the courier due to failed delivery or unpaid customs fees and will neither be returned to us or delivered to the customer, we will not be liable to provide a refund for the order. We do not ship orders to North Korea, South Korea or the Russian Federation due to the complications we have experienced.

Our products are packed in plain brown cardboard boxes using suitable filling material. We aim for the shipping label and outside of our product packaging have no reference to Moonbump Ltd or fake bumps, to ensure a discreet delivery. However this cannot always be guaranteed. Contents will be described as ‘Women's Bodysuit’ on the shipping documents.

Cancellations and Returns

As our products are handmade to order and due to reasons regarding their bespoke nature, personal hygiene and health & safety, there is no return and refund policy for items which have already commenced manufacture or been delivered. If you have purchased a Bump that you have found to be unsuitable, where possible it can be returned for alterations to be made at the client's expense. We will send the Bump back to you once the alterations have been made. If you require a different bump size, you can make an additional purchase for a new Bump.

All Moonbump Fake Pregnant Bellies are made to order and are tailored to a specific wearer size, bump size and colour. Accordingly these are goods made to your specification and the normal cancellation rights under the United Kingdom Distance Selling Regulations do not apply. If you wish to cancel your order, you may do so only if the making of your Bump has not already commenced and at the discretion of Moonbump Ltd.

Moonbump Ltd is entitled to refuse or cancel any order placed by you for any reason. If we do cancel your contract we will notify you in writing and will repay to you any monies paid to us as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any compensation for disappointment suffered.

Moonbump Ltd will never knowingly sell Bump products which do not significantly imitate a real pregnant belly when worn underneath clothing. Products with significant faults may be returned and subsequently replaced after we have received photographic proof of the fault and agreed to the return. Return postage costs will be payable by the buyer. After we have received the original product and made an assessment we will either return the product to you at your expense, or proceed to make and dispatch a replacement product and refund the postage cost for returning the original product.

Events Beyond Our Control

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or networks, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
